It is the customer's responsibility to check the reservation dates, guest numbers and confirm the details are correct.

 

Yoga Retreats and holiday bookings are to be confirmed by a non-refundable deposit, a minimum being, £300.00. The payment is to be made by a bank transfer. 

 

The balance due shall be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival. Failure to pay the outstanding balance within 6 weeks before arrival may result in the cancellation of the booking. 

 

In the event of a cancellation by the customer, regardless of circumstances, the following refund fees, minus the non-returnable deposit apply;

 

Cancellation less than 6 weeks prior to stay, 0% refund.

Cancellation 6 - 8 weeks prior to stay, 50% refund.

Cancellation 9 weeks +, 100% refund. 

 

Confirmation of Yoga Retreat guest numbers:

There are three modern, comfortable, well equipped barns, with a total of, 4 x twin and 2 x triple bedrooms, (all 3ft single beds), with additional sleeping accommodation possibly available, please ask for details.

 

Yoga Retreats are usually based on either two or three night stay, and prices are based on a minimum of twelve, (12), paying students and one teacher. Additional students, up to a maximum of fourteen, (14) can be accommodated with the use of small double sofa beds. 

Retreats requiring longer stays are welcome, please just contact us to discuss your requirements. Full details and costings available , please contact me by telephone or email.

 

The final numbers attending the retreat must be confirmed at least seven, (7) days prior to the start date of the retreat. 

Any guest, (over the 12 included guests), cancelling after the numbers have been confirmed will be charged the full amount.

We cannot refund any booking due to adverse weather conditions.

 

In exceptional circumstances Potash Barns reserve the right to change or cancel bookings if necessary. Customers would be notified immediately, and where possible offered an alternative date/s, or given a full refund of monies paid.

 

Breakages and Damages:

Due to the increasing cost of replacing broken, damaged or stained items, there is a 'breakage' deposit.

Yoga/Pilates/Wellness Retreats: £40.00

(Holiday Bookings:£175.00).

The breakage deposit is to be paid with the balance payment six weeks prior to the stay. Any refund of the breakage deposit will be made by bank transfer the week following the retreat/stay.

 

Potash Barns has undergone significant modernisation, refurbishment and redecoration, so we hope all our guests will experience a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the most tranquil setting.

 

We would therefore appreciate due care and respect while staying in the barns;

 

Please, hook back external doors if you wish to leave them open.

Please, turn off unnecessary lights, especially outside lights which are on the same panel and maybe left on in error.

Please, rinse the kitchen sink/s regularly to prevent stubborn staining.

Please, remove excess food, and rinse all items prior to loading the dishwashers.

Please, report any machine breakdowns, breakages or damages.

Please, strip all the beds before leaving, and leave unused towels on the bed, and used towels in the bath/s.

Please, close all the doors, sky lights and windows prior to leaving.

Please, rinse items, fill and turn on the dishwasher/s prior to departure.

All the bathrooms and toilets have sanitary bags, please use them and the bins provided, thank you.

Wheelie bins for rubbish, and dustbins for glass/bottles are situated near the main drive gate of the thatched cottage.

 

Please be aware, spray/fake tanning products, and some cosmetics cause significant staining of bedding. If you, or your guests use these products, it would be appreciated if you bring your own sheets, duvet cover and pillow cases, as there will be a charge for replacing any spoilt linen, thank you.

 

The tiled floors are lovely, but are not the most comfortable to walk on, so I suggest bringing a pair of indoor shoes, or slippers.

 

Arrival: Teachers from midday, students usually from 14:00 onwards. Departure by 14:00 unless pre arranged. We will always be as flexible as possible.

 

Lost property

Any lost property that is not claimed within 2 weeks of departure will be taken to a charity shop or disposed. Please note that any property returned by post will have an additional £5.00 admin fee on top of postage.

Based on 12 students and one instructor. A maximum of 14 people can be accommodated.
