Self Catering Holiday Booking Terms and Conditions:
Children over 14 are welcome but no pets.
It is the customer's responsibility to check the reservation dates, guest numbers, configuration of beds, and confirm the details are correct.
Holiday bookings are to be confirmed by a non-refundable deposit, a minimum being, £300.00. The payment is to be made by a bank transfer.
The balance due shall be paid no later than 6 weeks before arrival. Failure to pay the outstanding balance within 6 weeks before arrival may result in the cancellation of the booking.
In the event of a cancellation by the customer, regardless of circumstances, the following refund fees, minus the non-returnable deposit apply;
Cancellation less than 6 weeks prior to stay, 0% refund.
Cancellation 6 - 8 weeks prior to stay, 50% refund.
Cancellation 9 weeks +, 100% refund.

We cannot refund any booking due to adverse weather conditions.
In exceptional circumstances Potash Barns reserve the right to change or cancel bookings if necessary. Customers would be notified immediately, and where possible offered an alternative date/s, or given a full refund of monies paid.
Breakages and Damages:
Due to the increasing cost of replacing broken, damaged or stained items, there is a 'breakage' deposit of £175.00. The breakage deposit is to be paid with the balance payment six weeks prior to the stay. Any refund of the breakage deposit will be made by bank transfer the week following the stay.
Potash Barns has undergone significant modernisation, refurbishment and redecoration, so we hope all our guests will experience a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the most tranquil setting.
We would therefore appreciate due care and respect while staying in the barns;
Please, hook back external doors if you wish to leave them open.
Please, turn off unnecessary lights.
Please, rinse the kitchen sink/s to prevent stubborn staining.
Please, report any machine breakdowns, breakages or damages.
Please, strip all the beds before leaving.
Please, close all the doors and windows prior to leaving
Please, Fill and turn on the dishwasher if needed before departure.
All the bathrooms and toilets have sanitary bags, please use them and the bins provided, thank you.
Please be aware, spray/fake tanning products, and some cosmetics cause significant staining of bedding and/or towels. If you, or your guests use these products, it would be appreciated if you bring your own sheets, duvet, pillow cases, and towels as there will be a charge for replacing any spoilt linen, thank you.
Holiday Booking Arrival:16:00 onwards. Departure: 11:00.
Retreat Venue Arrival: 13:00 onwards for teachers, 15:00 onwards for students. Departure, by pre arrangement.
Lost property
Any lost property that is not claimed within 2 weeks of departure will be taken to a charity shop or disposed. Please note that any property returned by post will have an additional £5.00 admin fee on top of postage costs.
